Both the rifle and pistol ranges are currently going through a re-fresh.  Besides the cleanup, they are both getting brand new paving of asphalt filings.  This material closely copies blacktop and it will be heat treated to make it more of a solid which should give it an increase life expectancy. Under no circumstances are the shooting benches to be moved! 

Shooters are expected to treat this with respect and to clean up after themselves.

Open Trap/Skeet shooting:


  Open shooting is usually available on Friday nights starting at approximately 4pm till dark. Dependent on the weather!

You should know that due to other situations, commitments, etc., it is possible that there will NOT be anyone there!

The usual group of shooters are not assigned to this duty, but rather just having some fun shooting.

Sundays have some shooters in the morning on an occasional schedule.  If you see it happening, you can join in.

Be aware that there are some weekdays and Sundays when both trap and skeet fields are being used for league shoots or scholastic shooters. Check the calendar.

2027 Winter "Long John" League

In-House Trap & Skeet

Starts on Sunday, January 3rd at 8am till 12 noon.

League is 10 weeks with the 11th week for shoot offs.

Shooters must shoot a minimum of 7 shoots to qualify for the shoot off.  You will have unlimited shoot aheads and make ups to qualify.

Food will be available 

12 and 20 gauge ammo also available.

Learn to Obtain Your Pistol Permit

We offer courses in qualifying for a pistol permit.  These courses are run completely by Lt. Chauncey Bennett.  He is totally in charge for setting up the dates and selecting the students.

Since these classes take place on our grounds, you will be required to become a member of McGraw Sportsmens Club.  Mr.Bennett will collect this fee and issue your membership credentials.

About Us

Inside our beautiful clays clubhouse

     We are a full sportmens' club offering shotgun, rifle and pistol shooting and "In the Woods" sporting clays.  

     Shot gunners have two trap and two skeet fields available.   Featuring totally modern machines and professional fields with wireless/speaker releases.  Four different leagues are available along with open shooting.  Guests are welcome to look over the facility and shoot trap or skeet.  Recently renovated pistol and rifle ranges are available on our upper area behind our main clubhouse.  MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED to use either of these fields!  Please read the link above about range rules.  Surveillance cameras are in use 24/7.

Membership is available for just $35 a year and $5 for juniors under 18 years of age.  A link is above for the membership form.  You can join in person whenever the club houses are open for shooting.

We have monthly meetings on the last Monday of each month with the exception of when it interferes with a holiday.  The monthly calendar linked above will show the next meeting.  All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.  This is a member-owned club.
